Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Eye Cream

Hada Labo is a popular Japanese skincare brand. They are well know for their use of hyaluronic acid in their products to maximize your skin's hydration.

One of their best known product is the Hada Labo super hyaluronic acid moisturizing lotion which is also from the same line. Here is my review on that:

Product Description

  • With 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid to deeply moisturize the delicate skin around the eyes for immediate suppleness & softness.
  • Contains (ACTIFLOW) to visibly lighten dark circles and reduce puffiness.
  • Contains natural Jojoba Oil & extracts to effectively smoothen fine lines and aging skin around the eye area.
  • pH balanced. Low irritation.
  • Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol & colorant.

DOES IT REALLY WORK? Well let's see!

Directions

Use twice a day (preferably day and night) after toner. Apply adequately amount and using your fourth fingertips, dab lightly under your eyes and gently pat onto skin. With the excess you can draw circles around your eyes to get rid of puffiness.

Before Blending and After Blending
Here you can see that it is quite watery and very moisturizing.

I have been using this product everyday for almost 6 months now and there is still some left which means that they do give u quite a lot of product since you don't need that much for every apply. I like this product a lot since it moisturizes my eyes so well, however it doesn't reduce your puffiness as it said it will. There are other products on the market that reduces puffiness better (one of the problem i suffer from). For example the Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-On or the Simple Kind to eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On. I have realised that roll-ons tends to work better because of the cooling metal roller ball applicator.

Scent - This product don't have a scent.

Packaging - Hada Labo uses very simple design for their packaging. It is just a small white plastic bottle with a plump for you to get the products out hygienically. Also with a plump, it is easier to control the amount of product you use. Sometimes you might get too much or too less if its in a tub. I kind of wish they have a cuter packaging since they are an Asian brand however I am not complaining. I think it is good enough.

Price - I bought mine at Watson in Malaysia when I was on a holiday, it costs around Rm50 which is around £10. I think this is a decent price for an eye product that could lasts you for such a long time. For those who don't live in Asia like myself, you can purchase it from Sasa.com. This is one of the cons for this product because it is rather hard and expensive to purchase outside of Asia.

Would I repurchase this product? YES!

PS: my exams finish in a week finally so be ready for more updates! =)
