DIY - Facial Cleansing Foaming Net

Did you know instead of throwing away your old shower pouf, you can turn it into something amazing?!
or you can use new ones of course.

A facial foaming net is quite popular in Asia because there are a lot foaming cleansers out there and the foam itself can provide a deeper cleanse without harming your face. With the cleanser on its own, there isn't much foam and it is much denser. This way you can also use your favourite cleanser to create foam which will have a similar effect.

Here are some examples of what the ones on the market looks like.
PS: these are not my photos

If you think this is too much trouble then there are some products out there that already have the foam when you pump it out.

Let's Start:
(From this point onwards, all photos was taken by me)

Things that you'll need:
- A pair of Scissors (preferably fabric scissors)
- A Shower Pouf
- Some Strings

Firstly, cut up the string that is used to tie the pouf together.

It should look something like this when you unravel it. Then cut it in half with a pair of scissors.

With one of the halves you cut up, fold it in half and put a string around the top.

Then you tie a knot combining the string you wrapped around into the knot to secure it in place.

The knot should look something like this.

And you're done! =) Easy right?

How to Use:

Squeeze a little bit of your cleansing foam onto the net and add a bit of water to help it lather up.

Rub together until it turns into foam.

Using the string at the top, gather all the foam onto your palm. Then get cleaning ^_^

TIP: The foam formed is ultra fine and is even smaller than your pores therefore it can clean inside your pores without any harsh scrubbing which causes damage to your skin. This result in more thorough cleansing with less effort. The foam also feels great when you apply it on your skin, it is almost like you can feel it getting into your pores and cleaning it.

Review: I have used this technique to clean my face for the past 2 weeks or so and I have realised that it have reduced my breakouts and it also makes my face feel very smooth. I used to suffer from blackheads and whiteheads around my nose, however after using this technique and a new toner from Etude House (Wonder Pore Freshner) my blackheads and whiteheads have reduced a lot and they don't come back as quickly as before.
